DNEVNIK
- Macedonia on Wednesday is expected to receive a positive report and a recommendation by the European Commission to start EU accession negotiations. The date for the start of the negotiations should be set later by the Council of the European Union.
VECER
- A poll conducted by the Macedonian branch of U.S.-based International Republican Institute (IRI) and financed by USAID shows that Macedonia's governing conservative VMRO-DPMNE maintains its lead in its fourth year in power with a support rating of 32% of those surveyed, way ahead of opposition left-wing SDSM which was backed by 11%.
- Macedonian households, which account for about 40% of the energy consumption in the country, should apply energy saving measures, the president of local Center for Energy Efficiency NGO, Konstantin Dimitrov, said.
