May 12 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for a sixth consecutive trading session on Thursday, with reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Sava's shares went down 2.99% to 26 euro on Thursday, LJSE data showed.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the sole riser among the blue chips, with shares gaining 0.24% to 83 euro on Thursday. The drug maker's stock also was the most liquid on the bourse, generating a turnover of 1.1 million euro ($1.14 million).
The blue-chip SBITOP index dropped 1.30% and closed at 1,098.24 points on Thursday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 1.30% to end at 1,292.27 points.
The bourse's daily trading turnover rose to 2.4 million euro on Thursday from 1.78 million euro generated on Wednesday.
