November 8 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) started the trading week in positive territory, with chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares gained 2.88% and closed at 250 euro on Monday, generating a turnover of 72,951 euro, LJSE data showed.
Insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] and petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] were other major winners, advancing 1.17% and 1.13%, respectively.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was the sole decliner among the members of the two indices on Monday. Its shares closed down 0.70% at 56.80 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to nearly 1.8 million euro ($2.1 million) on Monday from 1.5 million euro generated in the previous trading session.
The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.46% to 1,206.70 points on Monday, LJSE data showed. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also added 0.46% and closed at 1,406.52 points.
