October 6 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed lower on Wednesday, as Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] lead the decliners, bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije's shares fell 2.24% to 52.4 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] paced the blue-chip winners, as its shares gained 0.46% to 110 euro. The company was also the most liquid member of the two bourse indices on Wednesday, generating 873,542 euro ($1 million) in turnover.
The bourse's total trading turnover more than doubled to 2 million euro on Wednesday, compared with 975,914 euro generated on Tuesday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.23% to end at 1,159.57 points on Wednesday, after dropping 0.52% on Tuesday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.23% and closed at 1,349.52 points, after falling 0.53% the previous trading day.
