January 19 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed Thursday's trading session lower, compared with the previous trading day, as reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] lead the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Sava's shares dropped 1.67% to 23.60 euro on Thursday, LJSE data showed.
At the other end, petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] paced the blue-chip gainers, with shares advancing 0.89% to 22.60 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,110.06 points, down 0.29%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.29% and closed at 1,403.33 points.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single trading turnover, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 255,825 euro ($277,007). Krka's shares fell 0.83% to 96 euro on Thursday.
Total daily regulated market turnover dropped to 573,312 euro on Thursday from 1.5 million euro on Wednesday.
