PRISTINA (Kosovo), June 28 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a real 3.5% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2018, after increasing by an annual 3.2% in the fourth quarter of 2017, Kosovo's statistical agency said on Thursday.
Calculated in current prices, Kosovo's first-quarter GDP totalled 1.3 billion euro ($1.5 billion), the statistical agency said in a quarterly report.
Gross capital formation increased by 10% year-on-year in the January-March period.
Exports of goods and services rose by 16.2% and imports increased by 7.8%.
Kosovo's 2018 state budget envisages 4.6% economic growth and deficit equivalent to 1.5% of GDP.
