March 26 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's government has approved a draft bill banning gambling activities across the country for a period of 10 years, prime minister Ramush Haradinaj said on Tuesday.
All gambling activities will be suspended for the next 10 years with the exception of the national lottery, Haradinaj said in a Facebook post following a government meeting.

Kosovo’s government decision comes nearly three months after neighbouring Albania banned gambling activities including sports betting shops, bingo halls, racing betting and online gambling, and restricted the operations of electronic casinos.
Last week, Kosovo's parliament said it has endorsed a resolution filed by 49 MPs on the suspension of gambling activities until amendments to the gambling legislation are approved.
