December 27 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's parliament has adopted the 2018 budget bill proposed by the government, the finance ministry said.
The main parameters of the budget approved at final reading last week remain the same as defined in the draft budget, a finance ministry press officer told SeeNews by phone on Wednesday.
Revenues are set at 1.829 billion euro ($2.1 billion), which is an increase of 6% year-on-year, whereas expenditures are planned at 2.082 billion euro, 4% higher relative to 2017, according to the draft budget posted in the website of the finance ministry.
The budget deficit is set at 1.5% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).
Kosovo's GDP is projected to grow by 4.6% next year. In comparison, Kosovo's economy is expected to expand by 4.3% in 2017.
