October 11 (SeeNews) - Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 188 Jedinstvo shares changed hands in turnover of 1.2 million dinars. Jedinstvo shares closed up 4.64% at 6,290 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.17% higher at 748.94 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.32% to 1,607.77.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 293.7 million dinars ($2.8 million/2.5 million euro) on Friday, up from Thursday's 21.9 million dinars, as 198 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 19.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 271.7 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between October 7 and 11, BELEX15 rose by 0.16% and BELEXline grew by 0.17%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between October 7 and 11 was 463.7 million dinars, versus 236 million dinars in the previous week.
Treasury bonds worth 295.1 million dinars changed hands on the bourse this week, versus 1.039 billion dinars last week.
