October 7 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Macedonia in the first seven months of the year fell by an annual 70.9% to 78.7 million euro ($115.8 million), central bank data indicated on Wednesday.

Macedonia's government expects the FDI inflow to slow down this year due to the global economic crisis. In 2008, FDI in Macedonia fell by 18.5% to 412.5 million euro.
