BUCHAREST (Romania), November 10 (SeeNews) – The Romanian unit of Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo said on Tuesday its total net income rose by 20.3% on the year to 122 million lei ($42.5 million/28.4 million euro) through September, reported under the International Financial Reporting Standards.
The bank's credit portfolio reached 2.04 billion lei at the end of September, 20% up on the year, while its deposit portfolio rose 45% to 978 million lei, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania said in a statement.
The bank has some 100 branches in Romania. Its assets totalled 2.9 billion lei at the end of September, down from 3.02 billion lei at the end of June this year.
