ZAGREB (Croatia), June 19 (SeeNews) -US-based enterprise information management company Iron Mountain Incorporated said it has entered the Croatian market with the acquisition of Arhiv Trezor, a provider of records management, secure destruction and secure transportation.
"The acquisition of Arhiv Trezor is an important step in our efforts to grow our presence within Southeastern Europe," Andras Szakonyi, senior vice president at Iron Mountain for Northern and Eastern Europe and India, said in a statement on Monday.

The acquisition of Zagreb-based Arhiv Trezor will give Iron Mountain its first facility in Croatia.
"Since Croatia is a member of the European Union, its economic and cultural connections to other Central and Southeastern European markets are very strong, allowing us the opportunity to leverage our global scale to help local, regional and multinational customers with their records and information management needs", Szakonyi added.
Founded in 2002, Arhiv Trezor is the recognized country leader in records management and storage, digitization, secure information destruction, and secure transportation, according to the statement.
Iron Mountain Incorporated, founded in 1951 and listed with the New York Stock Exchange, is trusted by more than 225,000 organizations around the world, and has a real estate network across more than 1,400 facilities in over 50 countries.
