ZAGREB (Croatia), July 16 (SeeNews) – Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A]) said on Friday it holds 867,861 of its own shares representing 1.074535% of the company's capital after repurchasing 558 shares on Wednesday and 650 shares on Thursday.
Hrvatski Telekom bought back the shares at a weighted average price of 191.3 kuna ($30.1/ 25.5 euro) apiece on Wednesday and at 190.9 kuna on Thursday, it said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
HT's share capital of 10.24 billion kuna is divided into 80.76 million shares with no par value.
Hrvatski Telekom said in April it planned to buy back up to 3 million of its own shares by 2026 under a programme that aims to withdraw shares that have no nominal value without reducing the share capital. The telco also said it will offer some of the repurchased shares to its employees.
HT's shares traded at 191 kuna on the ZSE intraday on Friday, up 0.52% compared to the closing price on Thursday.
