March 2 (SeeNews) - Albania's Fier Thermoelectric Sh.a., a joint venture of Greek holding group Gek Terna and Albanian construction firm Gener 2, plans to build a 170 MW thermal power plant near the city of Fier, local media reported.
Albania's ministry of infrastructure has received a request by Fier Thermoelectric for the construction of the power plant in the area of Roskovec, Albanian Daily News reported earlier this week.
Fier Thermoelectric is 70% owned by Gek Terna, whereas the remaining 30% are owned by Gener 2, the report reads.
