BELGRADE (Serbia), December 29 (SeeNews) – Greek media group Antenna has agreed to buy News Corporation’s 49% stake in Serbian television operator Fox Televizija, Reuters reported on Monday.
Fox Televizija controls 9.0% of the Serbian television market, Reuters quoted Antenna's CEO Thodoris Kyriakou as saying in a statement. He did not reveal the value of the deal.

Antenna’s decision is based on its confidence that Serbia is "a rapidly developing television market," Reuters said.
The deal is pending approval by Serbia’s competition watchdog.
Antenna sold its Bulgarian division, Nova TV, for 620 million euro ($895 million) to Swedish media company Modern Times Group (MTG) last year.
News Corporation is a diversified global media company with operations in eight industry segments, including: filmed entertainment, television, cable network programming, direct broadcast satellite television, newspapers and information services, book publishing, etc.
