May 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] was the top gainer among blue chips on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Friday, as its share price rose 3.62% following a 4.17% drop on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed the trading session 0.42% higher at 448.82 points.
Gradus, which is the second biggest blue chip by market capitalisation, is also a member of the wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.57% to 95.14 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.57% to 462.54 points.
Gradus was the second biggest gainer among members of both indices, surpassed only by financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH], which added 6.80%.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, rose 0.43% to 134 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 166,000 levs ($92,000/85,000 euro) on Friday.
