November 23 (SeeNews) - Germany-based manufacturer of transit passenger seats Kiel will invest 9.2 million euro ($9.5 million) in the construction of a production facility, its second, in North Macedonia, the government in Skopje said on Wednesday.
The new facility, which will be located in Tetovo's Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ), will create over 150 jobs, the government said in a press release.
Its construction is due to begin in 2023.
Kiel has been active in North Macedonia for six years, operating a factory in Tetovo.
Kiel manufactures complete seating systems and customised, customer-orientated seating solutions to meet specific requirements, according to its website.
