June 22 (SeeNews) - US-headquartered IT consulting firm Genpact said on Thursday that it is launching a centre for the delivery of data-tech-AI and digital operations services in Sofia, Bulgaria as part of a partnership with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC).
Under the multi-year agreement, Genpact will use its analytics capabilities to deliver data-led insights in accounting, accounts payable and cash collections for Coca-Cola HBC, helping it digitalise its financial operations and driving future growth, the New York-listed company said in a press release.
Details of the partnership were not divulged.
Switzerland-based holding company Coca-Cola HBC, of which Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria is a subsidiary, is a leading bottler of The Coca-Cola Company. In Bulgaria, there are six entities related to Coca-Cola operations employing around 3,000 people in total, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Bulgaria which hosts a finance shared services centre.
Earlier this month, Sasa Markovic took over the role of general manager of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria from Juerg Burkhalter.
In Southeast Europe, the group operates in Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.
Genpact has operations in over 30 countries, with a workforce of more than 115,000.
