May 23 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said on Tuesday investments in its new logistics centre in Sofia will exceed 100 million euro ($112.4 million).
“The new logistics centre will allow us to improve our customer service, as we will be able to significantly reduce delivery time,” Alex Bratu, JYSK country manager country manager for Romania and Bulgaria, said.
The centre, which will include two storage facilities, is expected to be completed by the autumn of 2018.
The investment will create up to 300 jobs and will service the company's operations across Southeast Europe.
JYSK, which entered the Bulgarian market in 2005, operates 12 stores in the country.
