BELGRADE (Serbia), March 31 (SeeNews) – The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in February went up 13.5% on the year to 91,398, statistical office data showed.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia increased by 18.6% year-on-year, to 235,751 in February.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was Serbia's biggest feeder market in February, with 7,998 tourists, up 23.1% on the year. Croatian citizens followed, up 13.1% to 7,049. Visitors from Bulgaria came third, up 26.6% to 6,910.
The number of domestic tourists increased by 22.7% on the year to 141,597 in February, taking the total number of tourists to 232,995, up 18.9%.
