December 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in November stood at 22,051, up from 5,036 in the same month of 2020, data from the country's statistical office showed on Wednesday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in November increased to 29,517 from 8,089, the office said in a statement.
Tourist overnights in November totalled 83,219, up from 30,596.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 14.1% of all overnights in November, followed by tourists from Albania with an 11.7% share, Russia with 8.7%, Turkey with 7.3%, Germany with 6.3%, and Bosnia with 4.9%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 72.4% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 18.8%, other tourist resorts with 5.0% and mountain resorts with 3.8%.
