November 5 (SeeNews) - A total of 59,535 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in September, compared with just 15,055 in the same month of 2020, the statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 135,842 overnights in the country in September, compared with 34,733 in September 2020, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report on tourist visits on Wednesday.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in September was 104,079, up from 55,254 in the same month last year.
Total tourist overnights increased to 236,876 from 141,497.
In September, most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia, 8,236, followed by tourists from Saudi Arabia and Croatia.
