March 23 (SeeNews) - Albania attracted 158,173 foreign tourists in February, down 30.9% year-on-year, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourist arrivals were down 28.2% on the year at 343,502 in the first two months of 2020, the statistical office said in a statement.
In February alone, the number of domestic tourists fell by an annual 47.8% to 202,351. Overall, the total number of domestic and foreign tourists plunged 41.5% year-on-year to 360,524 in the month under review.
In February, Albania attracted 75,184 visitors from Kosovo, 27,688 from North Macedonia and 20,686 from Montenegro.
