June 17 (SeeNews) - Essential oils producer EsseTerre Bulgaria, a subsidiary of US-based doTERRA, has opened a second distillery in the city of Dobrich, which will enable the company to double its production capacity to 210 cubic metres per year, the company said.
The new opening will create around 50 jobs, EsseTerre Bulgaria said in a press release over the weekend.

The investment in the second distillery will total 4.2 million levs ($2.4 million/2.1 million euro), the company said in April.
Following an investment of 5 million levs in 2016, doTERRA opened its first distillery in the city of Dobrich, in northeastern Bulgaria. The plant is mainly focused on the distillation of lavender and melissa essential oils.
Bulgaria is among the world's biggest lavender oil producers.
Utah-based doTERRA, founded in 2008, is specialised in the production of single oils and oil blends as well as nutritional, spa, and healthy living products based on essential oil technologies.
