March 7 (SeeNews) - Turkish car parts manufacturer Erenli has completed the first phase of the construction of its 16.6 million euro ($17.9 million) factory in Leskovac, eastern Serbia, it said on Monday.
The automotive cooling systems factory will start operating around the middle of 2022 and will hire around 100 people at that time, Erenli managing director Ercin Sahin said during a news conference held at the construction site, according to a video file published on the Tanjug news agency's YouTube channel.

Erenli has invested around 5 million euro during the first phase of the construction works, Sahin said, adding that the factory will reach its full capacity and hire 350 workers upon the finalization of the project in 2025.
"This is the twenty-third Turkish company in Serbia, and we believe we can attract many more," Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said at the news conference.
