March 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] said it has launched a prequalification tender for the installation of a flue gas desulphurisation system at the Kakanj thermal power plant (TPP), an assignment worth an estimated 126.4 million marka ($68.8 million/64.6 million euro), VAT excluded.
Interested parties can submit bids by April 18, EPBiH said in a notice on Friday.
Kakanj TPP has seven units, of which three units with a total capacity of 450 MW are currently in operation.
EPBiH's shares closed 3.65% lower at 14 marka on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange on Friday. They did not trade at opening on Monday.
