November 11 (SeeNews) - dm Bosnia, part of German cosmetics and consumer goods retailer dm-drogerie markt, said its turnover rose by 20.16% year-on-year to 272.7 million marka ($142.7 million/139.4 million euro) in the financial year 2021/2022 ended in September.
In the review period, dm invested over 10 million marka in the refurbishment of old stores and opening four new stores in Velika Kladusa, Gradiska, Bosanska Krupa and Sarajevo, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The cosmetics and consumer goods retailer currently runs 84 stores in Bosnia, employing 1,011 workers.
In the financial year 2022/2023, the retailer plans to invest some 12.1 million marka in the further development of its mobile phone application and the opening of five new stores which will employ 150 workers, it said.
The German company entered the Bosnian market in 2006.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, dm has operations in Romania, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia and Bulgaria.
