December 19 (SeeNews) - Cyprus-based company Farrag Fun World plans to build an amusement park worth 100 million euro ($111.3 million) in Bosnia, the local authorities said.
The planned amusement park will be located in the area of Lukavac, some 120 km north of Sarajevo, and will have roller coasters, a bowling alley, a cart racing track, a children's playground, a virtual reality zone, a laser hall, as well as many restaurants and shops, the Tuzla Canton government said in a statement on Wednesday after a meeting with the CEO of Farrag Fun World.
For the project to be carried out, certain preconditions must be met on a cantonal and central level.
"We will present this project to all the members of the Tuzla Canton government, as well as to the MPs in the assembly. After that we will take a stand and define how to support its implementation," the prime minister of Tuzla Canton, Denijal Tulumovic, said.
The Tuzla Canton is one of ten cantons forming Bosnia's Federation - one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
