September 11 (SeeNews) - Croatian hospitality group Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said on Wednesday it has increased its own shareholding to 2.8989% of the issued capital, from 2.8981%.
On September 9, the company bought back 1,000 of its own shares, representing a stake of 0.0008% of its capital, Valamar Riviera said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Following the last transaction, the company holds 3,653,356 of its own shares.
Shares of Valamar Riviera traded 0.54% higher at 36.90 kuna ($5.5/5.0 euro) by 1104 CET on the ZSE on Wednesday.
The hotel operator owns five brands: Valamar Collection, Valamar Collection Resorts, Valamar Hotels and Resorts, Sunny and Camping Adriatic. Valamar Riviera operates 30 hotels and resorts and 15 camping resorts in five attractive destinations along the Adriatic coast – from Istria and the islands of Krk and Rab to Dubrovnik.
