Croatia's unemployment rate declines to 6.5% in May

ZAGREB (Croatia), June 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's registered unemployment rate stood at 6.5% in May, down from 7.0% in April, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.

In May, there were 109,838 unemployed people registered with labour offices in Croatia, down 7.6% month-on-month and 20.4% fewer year-on-year, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

There were 1,592,190 employed people in the Adriatic country in May 2022.
