September 13 (SeeNews) - Croatian newspaper kiosk operator Tisak [ZSE:TISK], a subsidiary of ailing concern Agrokor, said its revenue decreased to 1.172 billion kuna ($188 million/157 million euro) in the first seven months of 2017.
The company recorded a loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (LBITDA) of 37 million kuna in the review period, Tisak said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The company provided no comparative figures.
In the first seven months of 2017, Tisak's revenue declined considerably, as some of its points of sale remained closed due to lack of personnel. Moreover, the company had to close some of its unprofitable kiosks under the project for restructuring of Agrokor launched by the concern's extraordinary administration, Tisak said.
According to Tisak's estimated financial statement filed with the Zagreb bourse last month, the company recorded a profit of 973 million kuna in the first half of 2017 and was the most profitable company among Agrokor's listed units.
