February 2 (SeeNews) - Croatia's retail sales grew by 5.8% year-on-year in real terms in December, picking up from a 2.7% increase a month earlier, official figures showed on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover increased a real 1.7%, after declining 1.6% in November, according to seasonally and working-day adjusted data released by the statistical office.
In nominal terms, Croatia's retail trade turnover rose by 6.1% year-on-year and 2.2% month-on-month in December.
In 2016, retail growth stood at a real 4%.
