June 8 (SeeNews) - The town authorities of Pula said on Wednesday that a European Union grant of 18.4 million kuna will go towards a 27.4 million kuna ($3.9 million/3.6 million euro) of a business centre, Coworking Pula, which is under construction in the northern Croatian town.
The construction works started in April with the removal of an existing old building on the site of the future centre, which is expected to open next year, Boris Sabatti, the head of the Istrian development agency IDA, in charge of the project said in a statement on the website of the Pula town authorities.
The town of Pula will participate with 6.7 million kuna in the project and the remaining 2.3 million kuna will be provided by the Croatian regional development ministry.
The four-store centre will cover 1,514 square metres and will service small and medium-sized companies, digital nomads and all other interested entrepreneurs.
