May 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian software company and global cloud communications provider Infobip said on Thursday it has acquired Irish SMS firewall service provider Anam in a cash-and-stock deal with an undisclosed value.
Infobip expects the acquisition to reinforce its market position through enhanced product and service offerings, it said in a press release.

Together with Anam, Infobip will now be able to provide technical solutions to more than 700 mobile network operators worldwide, it added.
Anam alone offers solutions to more than 80 mobile network operators with more than 606 million customers across the world, according to the statement.
Infobip serves and partners with leading mobile operators, messaging apps, banks, social networks, tech companies, and aggregators. Established in 2006 in Vodnjan, it has expanded to include over 65 offices on six continents, with the capacity to reach more than seven billion mobile devices and ‘things’ in more than 190 countries connected directly to over 650 telecom networks.
