March 16 (SeeNews) - The overall revenue of Croatia's electronic communications market rose 3.6% to 1.6 billion euro ($1.7 billion) last year, the country's telecommunications regulator, HAKOM, said on Thursday.
The growth was driven primarily by a 9.0% increase of revenue from broadband internet, a 5.0% rise in revenue from rents of networks and a 4.0% growth in revenue from paid TV services, HAKOM said in a statement.
The revenue of the fixed-line segment of phone services fell by 9.4%, while the number of their users declined 1.8% last year.
