March 20 (SeeNews) - Croatia's central bank said it expects the country's economic growth to slow down to 1.5% in real terms in 2023, from 6.3% in 2022.
The projection, which the central bank unveiled on Friday in its latest release of macroeconomic forecasts, is a touch higher compared to the predicted growth rate of 1.4% announced in December.
After speeding up to 10.7% in 2022, Croatia's inflation measured by the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) could be 7.0% in 2023, which is 0.5 percentage points lower than the previous forecast, the central bank said.
For 2024, the central bank forecasts gross domestic product growth of 2.8% and HICP inflation of 3.8%.
