January 14 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 6.7 % year-on-year to 908 in November, after increasing by 12.1% in October, the statistical office said on Friday.
The number of permits issued for buildings rose 12.9%% year-on-year to 794 in November, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects dropped 23% to 114, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in November, 77.6% covered new construction projects, while 22.4% were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in November, 1,458 dwellings are planned to be built, up 27.2 % year-on-year.
The number of building permits issued in the first 11 months of 2021 rose 13.1% year-on-year.
