August 16 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 17.5% year-on-year to 906 in June, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of permits issued for buildings rose 0.9% year-on-year to 793 in June, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects went down 16.3% to 113, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in June, 719 covered new construction projects, while 187 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in June, 1,390 dwellings are planned to be built, up 29.8% on the year.
The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 12.2% year-on-year to 10,553 in 2021.
