March 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] closed last year with a consolidated net loss of 15.1 million euro ($16.3 million), compared to a net profit of 3.0 million euro in 2022.
Total consolidated revenue fell to 46.7 million euro from 83.5 million euro, the company said in an unaudited consolidated financial report published on Tuesday. Total consolidated costs declined to 61.8 million euro from 80.5 million euro.
Operating revenue fell to 45.1 million euro from 79.7 million euro in 2023, while operating costs declined to 48.3 million euro from 52.8 million euro.
The company’s average daily freight rate amounted to $12,167 in 2023. A year earlier, it said that its average daily freight rate stood at $ 21,327 in 2022.
At the end of December, the group's fleet comprised 11 bulk carriers with a total deadweight tonnage (dwt) of 700,158.
The company’s shares traded 2.11% lower at 46.50 euro intraday on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
