September 17 (SeeNews) - Croatia's ministry of tourism and sports said it will grant 15.6 million kuna ($2.4 million/2.1 million euro) to local travel agencies to help them alleviate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and normalise their business.
The grant will be distributed among 307 travel agencies, the ministry said in its decision published earlier this week.
The small businesses from the tourism sector were invited to apply for the grant between July 8 and August 26. Fundung for the grants has been provided through a rearrangement of state budget expenditures for 2021 and allocations for 2022-2023, the ministry said.
