July 27 (SeeNews) - Croatia's government decided on Wednesday to reduce the non-tax burden for corporates and households by a total of 247.1 million kuna ($36.3 million/33 million euro) this year and in 2017.
According to data published on its website, the government will cut the non-tax burden for enterprises by 155.46 million kuna and that for households by 91.6 million kuna.
During its regular session, aired live by broadcaster HRT, the government said it plans to abolish 13 out of a total of 24 non-tax levies.
This decision is in line with the government's national reform programme, which foresees the reduction of the non-tax burden for households and corporations in the total amount of 330 million kuna.
Data published on the government's website reveals that non-tax levies amounted to 1.5 billion kuna in 2015.
