- The Government has sent to Parliament a budget proposal for 2010 with planned revenues of 112.8 billion kuna, which is 1.5% up on the year, and expenditures of 121.4 billion, or around 900 million kuna higher than this year. The Finance Ministry projects a 0.5% GDP growth in real terms for next year and a 2.7% of GDP budget deficit of the central government.
- The capital Zagreb exported goods worth 15.24 billion kuna in the first nine months of the year, while imports amounted to 50.89 billion kuna, so its trade deficit reached 35.65 billion kuna, the City’s statistics department reports.
