April 14 (SeeNews) - The number of people who died from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Slovenia rose to 56 by Tuesday morning, up from 55 a day earlier, while the number of confirmed cases of the infection increased by 8 to 1,220, the government in Ljubljana said.
A total of 35 people are under intensive care out of all 103 who have been hospitalised, the government said on a website it has created to monitor the coronavirus spread in the country.
The latest count is based on the test results of 35,946 people.
The first confirmed coronavirus case in Slovenia was reported on March 4.
