April 9 (SeeNews) - The number of people who died from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Slovenia rose to 43 by Thursday morning, up from 40 a day earlier, while the number of confirmed cases of the infection increased by 33 to 1,124, the government in Ljubljana said.
A total of 34 people are under intensive care out of all 108 who have been hospitalised, the government said on a website it has created to monitor the coronavirus spread in the country.
The latest count is based on the test results of 31,813 people.
The first confirmed coronavirus case in Slovenia was reported on March 4.
