April 29 (SeeNews) - Moldova's health ministry said on Wednesday that coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 3,638 from 3,481 a day earlier.
To date, most of the cases have been registered in Chisinau (1,097), Soroca (252) and Stefan Voda (251), the health ministry said in a press release.
So far, Moldova has reported 108 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 1,114 patients have recovered.
Some 38,804 people are in self-isolation across the country.
Since March 23, Moldova's emergency situations committee has banned people older than 63 years from leaving their home except to go to work, buy medicines or food or walk their pets.
On March 17, Moldova's parliament declared a countrywide state of emergency, in force until May 16.
