June 18 (SeeNews) - China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Co. and the city of Belgrade have signed an agreement worth 50 million euro ($56 million) for construction of four underground garages in Serbia's capital, local media reported.
The new underground garages will provide some 3,000 new parking spots, business news portal eKapija.com quoted Belgrade deputy mayor Goran Vesic as saying on Monday.
"It is particularly important that more than 50% of the works will be carried out by local companies, which was our first condition, while our second condition was for our company Parking Servis to be the operator," Vesic added.
