SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 1 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian government said on Wednesday it has granted building rights to the municipality of Yambol for the construction on state land of regional landfill infrastructure.
The state land will be used for the construction of a part of the infrastructure of a landfill for non-toxic waste, the government said in a notice after a regular meeting.
The regional landfill will also service the nearby municipalities of Nova Zagora, Tundzha, Sliven and Straldzha.
The project will be finance under the EU-backed operational programme Environment 2007-2013.
