November 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] reported on Friday a consolidated net profit of 15.01 million levs ($7.99 million/7.67 million euro) for the first nine months of 2022, up from a profit of 11.2 million levs in the same period of last year.
Revenue increased to 289.4 million levs in the nine months through September, from 208.2 million levs in the same period of 2021, the company said in an interim financial statement.
At the same time, operating expenses widened to 247.07 million levs from 180.8 million levs as cost of materials jumped to 150.7 million levs from 98.3 million levs.
Looking ahead, Stara Planina expects that its full-year sales will be 33% higher compared to 2021.
As at CET 1147 on Friday, shares in Stara Planina Hold traded flat at 9.00 levs on the Bularian Stock Exchange.
Stara Planina Hold's investment portfolio includes companies from the sectors of machine-building, electrical engineering and perfumery and cosmetics.
