SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 13 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian drug distributor Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] said it has opened its 21st pharmacy in the country under its SOpharmacy brand.
The pharmacy is the brand’s third in the coastal city of Burgas, Sopharma Trading said in a statement on Tuesday.
In May, Sopharma Trading said it will seek regulatory approval to acquire 19 pharmacies making up the PharmaStore chain. The Commission for Protection of Competition said in June it is launching an in-depth investigation before deciding whether to grant approval for the acquisition as the deal might potentially lead to distortion of competition.
As at 1500 CET on Wednesday, Sopharma Trading shares traded flat at 7.6 levs ($4.65/3.88 euro).
