December 12 (SeeNews) - Total revenues from tourist overnights spent in Bulgaria rose by 12.5% year-on-year in November, reaching 37.5 million levs ($27.0 million/22.9 million euro), the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Revenues from overnights spent by foreign nationals increased by 9.8% year-on-year in November, while revenues from Bulgarian tourists added 14.7%, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a statement.
The number of tourist overnights spent in Bulgaria grew 10.5% on the year to 711,300 in November.
The largest increase in the number of overnights, by 17.8%, was registered by four- and five-star hotels which serviced 68.2% of the total number of overnights of international visitors and 37.4% of the overnights spent by Bulgarian tourists.
A total of 371,600 tourists stayed in accommodation facilities in Bulgaria in November, up 7.4% year-on-year.
